Holy Rosary And St Anne's Catholic Primary School

Excellence & Enjoyment Together in God's Love

Mission Statement

Mission Statement:  ‘Excellence and Enjoyment Together in God’s Love’.

OUR MISSION

Our Catholic school is a community striving to face the challenges set by Christ in the Gospel message.  In doing so, we aim to support and complement the parents/carers and the parish in the development of the full spiritual, cultural, intellectual and physical potential of each child within a loving, happy, secure and caring Catholic environment.

OUR VISION

At Holy Rosary and St Anne’s we strive for excellence in all we do; enabling every children to reach their full potential. We will provide an inclusive ethos and environment which provides opportunity for all, where children feel loved, happy, safe and secure. They will learn about God’s wonderful world; through creative learning and play together in a loving and respectful way, developing their skills and understanding of other faiths and cultures, preparing them for future life.  We will recognise, celebrate and be very proud of the rich diversity of cultures that makes our school so unique and special.

OUR AIMS

Holy Rosary and St Anne’s aims to provide every child with a framework for living.  The essential nature of this framework is to lead the children towards growth in knowledge, self management and the ability to judge clearly and choose freely, in order to form and develop positive relationships, based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and his Law of Love, through the delivery of broad and balanced, appropriately differentiated, immersive and creative learning experiences.

We believe parents/carers to be the most important people in our children’s lives.  We work closely with all our parents/carers to develop strong home, school and parish partnerships.  We provide opportunities for parents/carers to deepen their own knowledge and skills to enable them to support and be actively involved in their children’s learning journey.  We are here to listen to any suggestions or challenges that may arise and support families in overcoming them.

We support our children, their families and the parish in preparation for the Sacraments.  We welcome and encourage all to participate fully and actively in the life of the Church.

All staff, governors, volunteers, visitors, parents/carers and children are to treat each other with dignity and respect at all times and value the great richness of experience each brings to our school.  Good behaviour and good manners are very important to us.  We encourage children, staff and parents/carers to work together, showing mutual respect and care for each other and for the environment in which they live.

‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them;

For it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.’

Mark 10:14
